Being very aware that lots of people love Motorsport - but few actually get to try it - we have decided to bridge that gap by offering you this experience and to go a step further to show you how the professionals to it.

You get to drive on Taupo’s new refurbished A1 GP sanctioned track, in a HQ Holden race car, then in a purpose built VY Holden Commodore. After you have had your tuition with your own instructor, YOU get to drive the cars around the track implementing all you have learnt! Just when you think that you’re the next Jim Richards, you get to have Hot Laps in a V8, just to show you how it’s really done at SPEED!

All Experiences start with whiteboard instruction & safety briefing - Driving suits and Helmets are supplied. Track hire is included in the prices.

• Instructor shows you the driving lines & braking points on the track
• Your turn to drive for seven laps with the instructor
• Finishing with Hot Laps in a V8, just to show you how’s it’s done!!!

• Instructor shows you the driving lines & braking points on the track
• Your turn to drive for seven laps with the instructor
• Finishing with Hot Laps in a V8 (Total Laps 13 - 15)

• Instructor shows you the driving lines & braking points on the track
• Your turn to drive for six laps with the instructor
• Hot Laps in a V8
• Then back in the drivers seat of the HQ for six laps with another HQ chasing you around the track. (Total Laps 15 - 20)

• 1st Lesson - In the HQ, the instructor will show you the driving lines & braking points
• Your turn to drive for six laps with the instructor
• 2nd Lesson - In the VY, the instructor will show you the driving lines & braking points
• Your turn to drive for six laps with the instructor
• Hot Laps (three laps)
• Back in to HQ, with another HQ racing with around the track (six laps)
• Lunch & a certificate (Total Laps 30 -40)

GUIDELINES: You must be 15 yrs or older and be able to drive a manual vehicle. This is not recommended for people with back or neck injuiry or during pregnancy. Our Instructors are experienced drivers.

NUMBERS: We operate with a maximum of 10 people per day. You maybe with others on the day, but our instructors are with you to advise and guide you.

You will be required to sign a waiver prior to undertaking the activity. A damage indemnity waiver with an excess is available at an additional cost (to be paid on the day).
